Professional Experience

Brian Keefer has been with Dering since 1998. As Vice President of Operations, Brian coordinates all phases of implementation for short- and long-term projects, facilitates problem solving and decision-making processes, and manages the course development practice for Dering. Brian works with organizations to assess, design, and deliver training and development programs through a wide variety of delivery methods.

Education & Credentials

Brian has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh and bachelor’s degree in business administration from Shippensburg University. He is a member of the Association for Talent Development, Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the Association for Talent Development, and the Human Resource Professionals of Central Pennsylvania. Brian is an experienced team leader with over 30 years in training & development.

Interests

Brian enjoys freshwater and saltwater fishing, hunting, and the exploration of nature through hiking. Beyond the great outdoors, Brian is a skilled cook who enjoys crafting delicious meals and smoking meats. Brian is determined to explore all 50 states in the USA. Brian is not just a lover of travel and adventures; he’s a compassionate supporter of the United Way of the Capital Region and the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area, embodying the values of community and charity.
